The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Churchill lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Iron connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Iron lands a lovely overhand right.
Good standup being displayed there by Iron as he connects with a hook.
Iron lands with an uppercut that bounces Churchill off the cage and back into range.
Churchill on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Iron. Iron obviously looking to wear him down.
Churchill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Churchill throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Iron connects with a right hand. Churchill shakes it off.
Iron fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Churchill looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Iron throws a head kick that misses.
The fighters circling - Iron throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Iron ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Churchill shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A low kick from Churchill is predictable there
and Iron counters with a head kick that wobbles Churchill - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Iron sends him down. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crabby Iron! Crabby Iron retains his lightweight title!
Crabby Iron tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
