The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fresh moves into the clinch.
Rua is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fresh to keep the fight standing.
Rua using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Rua drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fresh pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fresh takes the fight into the clinch.
Fresh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rua's elbow.
Fresh lands with a left to the head.

It looks like Jake Rua has been cut.
Rua is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fresh to keep the fight standing.
Vlad Fresh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Rua.
Rua has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fresh avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fresh creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fresh working the clinch nicely. Rua is working for position but Fresh cracks him with a big knee to the head! Rua crumples up against the cage and Fresh lands two more shots before the ref can save Rua! This one is all over!
