Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaromir Jag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cthulhu Fhtagn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fhtagn shoots in and drives through. Jag sprawls well.
Jag closes the distance but Fhtagn moves to the side
and Fhtagn counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fhtagn fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fhtagn circles away from the clinch attempt
and Fhtagn counters with a nice uppercut.

Fhtagn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jag is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fhtagn has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Fhtagn has hold of Jag's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jag tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fhtagn cranks the arm and Jag screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jag, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Cthulhu Fhtagn!
