The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Wursty there.
Wursty misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tapout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wursty as he avoids it easily.
Tapout is looking to clinch but Wursty is avoiding it.
Wursty misses with a series of wild punches.
Tommy Tapout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Wursty. No joy for Tapout on that attempt.

Tapout darts in and clinches Wursty up against the cage.
Wursty stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wursty breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tapout tries to clinch
and Wursty counters with an outside leg kick.
Tapout looks winded!
Tapout throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tapout shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wursty as he avoids it easily.
Antero Wursty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Tapout.
Wursty feints and then cracks Tapout's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tapout down.
Tapout throws a lazy uppercut
and Wursty counters with a series of strikes. Tapout will be more careful next time no doubt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tapout tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wursty paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tapout misses with a straight right.
Wursty cracks Tapout with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Tapout is rocked!

It looks like Tommy Tapout has been cut.
Tapout gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
