Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hendrik Daross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrius Colrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Demetrius Colrane!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daross doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Daross tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Colrane is able to avoid easily.
Colrane walks forward, straight into a front kick from Daross.
Daross connects with a leg kick. Colrane looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Daross swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Colrane is looking to clinch but Daross is avoiding it.
Daross throws a nice inside leg kick.
Daross feints and then cracks Colrane's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Colrane down.
Daross feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Colranes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hendrik Daross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Daross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That kick from Daross tenderised Colrane's leg. Colrane is trying to keep his angry face on.
Daross connects with a leg kick. Colrane looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
An inside leg kick lands from Daross.
Daross takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Colrane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Daross manages to avoid it.

Daross has closed the distance and engaged Colrane in a clinch.
Daross can't find room to land a body shot as Colrane controls the action.
Daross breaks the clinch.
Daross misses with a body kick.
Hendrik Daross is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Daross finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
No luck for Colrane with that takedown attempt.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Daross - that will leave a mark!
Colrane moves in looking to clinch but Daross pushes him off.
Colrane misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circling - Colrane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Colrane on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Daross.
Daross throws a nice outside leg kick.

A jab from Daross does it's job there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daross is looking to slow Colrane down with leg kicks.
Colrane throws a nice looking combination but Daross bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Daross connects with a leg kick. Colrane looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Daross has taken the fight to the clinch.
Daross wants to stall.
Colrane has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Daross after a bit of a struggle.

A body shot lands from Daross.
Daross breaks from the clinch.
Daross keeps the fight on the outside.
Daross connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Daross dips to his left and cracks Colrane with an uppercut!

Daross lands a high kick to the side of Colrane's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Daross dives into guard, looking to finish.
Colrane is rocked!
It looks like Demetrius Colrane has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Colrane looking for a sweep. Not yet Colrane, not yet.
Colrane is still in real trouble! Can Daross finish him?
Daross connects with a couple of short punches.
Daross is in close to Colrane's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Colrane preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Colrane keeping moving, preventing Daross from controlling successfully.
Daross wants to pass the guard but Colrane is keeping the position.
Colrane trying to control the position.
Colrane is looking to sinch up a triangle. Daross throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Colrane's body to avoid the submission. Colrane has instead reached around Daross's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Colrane arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Demetrius Colrane! Demetrius Colrane retains his middleweight title!
