PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darin Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tourniquet by Evanescence kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a leg kick but Blood sees it coming and moves out of range.

Li gets caught napping as Blood dives in and scores a takedown. Li manages to retain guard.

Li has an active guard here but Blood has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blood is trying to control. Li wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Blood wants to free his trapped foot but Li is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Blood thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Li's head.
