The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chillington tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chillington scores with a kick to the body.
Chillington throws a leg kick but Velasquez checks it.

Chillington dives in and grabs Velasquez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Velasquez pushes down on Chillington's head and hops out.

Chillington turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chillington manages to end up in side control.

Chillington is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Velasquez is aware though and is defending well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Velasquez decides to stand back up. Velasquez steps back and let's Chillington get back to his feet.
Velasquez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Velasquez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chillington doesn't seem bothered though.
