The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Strongham throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rey stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That was a close round but I would say that Tedd Strongham will probably get the nod.

Strongham has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Strongham has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Strongham and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
