Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gatho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gatho's entrance music is 666 - Bomba!. A fine choice. Scott has chosen Wildboy as his entrance music. Ben Gatho could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Maximus Scott's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott motions for Gatho to come forward. Scott throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gatho lands a nice leg kick that just misses Scott's sensitive parts.
Scott misses with a straight left.
Gatho moves out of range of the body kick from Scott.
Scott cracks the inside of Gatho's front leg.

Gatho is fighting off a takedown attempt but Scott is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gatho to the mat. Gatho regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Scott takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Scott throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gatho stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Gatho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Scott pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gatho is out of range and Scott settles back down.
Gatho fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gatho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gatho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Scott seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Scott holds on and takes a little breather.

Scott fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gatho has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Scott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gatho. That did some damage!
