Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson comes to the cage accompanied by Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock. Noir is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pride. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson throws a wild body kick that Noir sees coming a mile off.
Jefferson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Noir feints and as Jefferson raises his hands in defense, Noir changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marshall Noir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Noir is fighting to break Jefferson's control of his arms but Jefferson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Noir counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jefferson won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Noir in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Noir cracks Jefferson with a big right hand but Jefferson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Marshall Noir has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Noir can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jefferson is looking to escape.

Marshall Noir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
