Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitsuyo Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krwawy Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez has chosen DJ Kronic feat. Bombs Away - Looking For Some Girls as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez throws a shot from downtown. Maeda moves away and avoids it.
Maeda stuns Lopez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Lopez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Maeda really felt that one!

Lopez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maeda sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lopez throws a looping overhand right but Maeda ducks down to avoid it.

Lopez misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Lopez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
