Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lil Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Hilo, Eric Epp!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epp shoots in for a takedown but Wayne shows good takedown defense.
A head kick misses from Epp.
Epp tries to clinch up.
Wayne tried to score with a low kick but Epp checks it.
Epp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sloppy strikes from Wayne. Those never looked like landing.
Epp tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eric Epp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wayne throws a shot from downtown. Epp moves away and avoids it.
Epp walks into a jab.
Epp is looking to clinch but Wayne is avoiding it.
Epp pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Epp drives through and clinches with Wayne against the cage.
Epp slowing the pace effectively.
Wayne tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Epp's elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Epp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wayne has him pressed against the cage.
Epp tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wayne just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lil Wayne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Epp.
A frustrated look appears on Epp's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Epp fails to pull guard.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Epp.

Wayne manages to break the clinch.
Jab by Wayne.
Wayne listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Epp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wayne misses with a hook.
Wayne throws a hook to the side of Epp's head but Epp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lil Wayne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wayne lands an overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Epp looks to land a body kick but Wayne moved away.
Epp takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wayne lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Epp is rocked!
A head kick misses from Wayne.
A left and a right from Wayne both land. Nice combination.
Epp is still on wobbly legs! Can Wayne finish him?
Epp shoots in but Wayne avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wayne fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Epp to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Epp looks to clinch but Wayne throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Epp taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Lil Wayne!
