With the two fighters working up against the cage, Alves just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ul Haq's brow.

Alves creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Ul Haq got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alves has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ul Haq has managed to get both his arms back between Alves's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alves can't keep his opponent in guard - Ul Haq advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Alves takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Ul Haq scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Alves is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ul Haq can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
