Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zen Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: teenagers. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Zen Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Walter Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bishop closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Blood tries to buck Bishop off but Bishop is having none of it.
Blood takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blood manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Bishop keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Blood's head.
Blood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Zen Blood will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bishop got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bishop has managed to get both his arms back between Blood's legs - danger averted.

Blood isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bishop stacks Blood on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bishop!
