Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chad Brewster!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brewster manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nasir on his heels. He'll look to pass Nasir's guard now, I'm sure.
Brewster won't allow Nasir to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nasir can't keep his opponent in guard - Brewster advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Nasir is trying to get back to full guard.
Brewster prevents Nasir from standing back up.
Nasir keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Brewster passes to side control.
Brewster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nasir keeps working.
Brewster moves into full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nasir wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Brewster.
Nasir avoids a series of strikes thrown by Brewster.

Brewster working for a submission but Nasir is keeping him at bay.
Brewster thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Nasir is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brewster tries to control but Nasir wriggling away.
Brewster wants to take his opponent's back but Nasir doesn't allow it.
Brewster looking to finish Nasir with some ground and pound. This is bad for Nasir!
Nasir squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Brewster thowing shots but they're missing.
Brewster thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Brewster has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Nasir is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chad Brewster!
After the fight, Chad Brewster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
