Michaels kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sexy Boy. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lannister lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lannister looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Michaels is fending him off so far but Lannister persists. Nope, Michaels circles away and we're back to standing.
Lannister swings for the body but Michaels moves out of range.
Lannister is trying hard to land a takedown here. Michaels sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lannister bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lannister with the ground and pound but Michaels regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lannister throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Lannister winds up and cracks Michaels with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Lannister is looking to pass Michaels's guard but actually Michaels recovers to full guard.

Lannister throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Michaels works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lannister looking to sit in guard and control but Michaels gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Michaels prevents Lannister from getting back to his feet.
Michaels postures up.
Michaels drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Michaels seems to have locked his on tight now - Lannister screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Michaels, as he picks up the win!
