Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Heimo Vesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Nolter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesa lands a head shot.
Vesa gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Vesa gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Vesa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Nolter wants to get back to his feet.
Nolter is not content to let Vesa control the position.
Nolter is looking to escape.
Nolter looking for submissions off his back.
Nolter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vesa working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Nolter's thigh. Nolter counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Vesa is standing up over Nolter. Nolter looks to escape but Vesa dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vesa wants to control but Nolter is keeping him busy.
Vesa prevents Nolter from escaping the position.
Vesa is working to tighten is grip on Nolter's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nolter has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Vesa is really squeezing tight and eventually Nolter passes out! Vesa breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
