The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Peoples lands with a hook. Wilkins tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Jay Wilkins has been cut.
Wilkins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Peoples looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wilkins tries to bum rush Peoples with a series of wild strikes but Peoples uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
