Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morten Paulsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richmond Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulsen's entrance music is Papa Roach - Do or die. A fine choice. Morten Paulsen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Finch. Those never looked like landing.
Morten Paulsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Finch takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Finch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Paulsen can pounce on him.

Finch takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Finch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Paulsen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Paulsen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Finch connects with a good right hand that stumbles Paulsen. Paulsen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Finch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Paulsen throws a chopping leg kick but Finch manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Paulsen looks for the body kick but Finch saw that one coming.
Paulsen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Finch.
Paulsen lands with a nice combination. Finch backs away looking to recover.

Paulsen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Finch under the eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paulsen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Finch stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Finch misses with a hook. Paulsen ducked under it nicely.

Finch misses with a looping left.
Paulsen throws a looping overhand right but Finch ducks down to avoid it.
Paulsen dips to his left and cracks Finch with an uppercut!
A looping hook to the body misses from Paulsen. Finch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Finch connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Paulsen's hands.
Finch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Paulsen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Paulsen cracks Finch with a good jab.
Paulsen misses with a looping left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paulsen. Finch does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Finch throws a body punch but Paulsen moves out of range.
Paulsen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Finch is out of range and Paulsen settles back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Morten Paulsen will probably get the nod.

Paulsen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Paulsen there as he acknowledges the shot.

Oh Paulsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paulsen looks to land a right hand but Finch moved out of range.

and Finch counters with a nice body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paulsen drops his hands for a split second and Finch immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Paulsen face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Finch follows up with a right hand that knocks Paulsen into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Richmond Finch started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
