The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nara shoots in but Hero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nara throws a jab when Hero was well out of range.
Nara throws a poor cross that misses

and Hero counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nara's guard now.
Nara is controlling Hero's posture.
Nara is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nara holds on and takes a little breather.
