Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Geoff Sanburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuai Liang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanburg comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - War Pigs. Liang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. So Cold by Breaking Benjamin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Geoff Sanburg has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liang ducks under a wild hook from Sanburg.
Liang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Liang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kuai Liang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liang looks to land a left hand but Sanburg moved out of range nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Liang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sanburg drops back, looking for a kneebar! Liang looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Liang looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Liang!

Liang misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Geoff Sanburg.
I think Liang has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
