Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniello Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sonnen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chael Sonnen - Entrance song. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pablo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sonnen's waist but Sonnen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pablo off to one side.
Sonnen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pablo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sonnen as he jumps to the side.
Pablo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pablo.
Sonnen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Daniello Pablo has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sonnen lands with a straight right. Pablo didn't see that one coming.

Sonnen moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Pablo goes down! Can Sonnen finish him!?

Pablo is rocked!
Pablo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sonnen wants to get up but he can't break Pablo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Pablo is still in real trouble! Can Sonnen finish him?
Pablo seems to have recovered his senses.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pablo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sonnen!
Sonnen wants to get back to his feet.
