Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Equinox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramzi Mahjoub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahjoub is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Show me your genitals. Ramzi Mahjoub has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ramzi Mahjoub!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Equinox waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Mahjoub. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Mahjoub to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Mahjoub is rocked!
Equinox postures up.
Mahjoub is still in real trouble! Can Equinox finish him?
Mahjoub manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Equinox manages to get himself to full guard.
Mahjoub wants to control from the top but Equinox keeps moving.
Mahjoub might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Equinox kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mahjoub seems to have recovered his senses.
Mahjoub with a flurry of punches that miss.
Mahjoub pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Equinox is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mahjoub thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mahjoub drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mahjoub jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mahjoub wants to control from the top but Equinox keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mahjoub has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Equinox is trying to break free.
Mahjoub is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Equinox is keeping busy.
Equinox lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mahjoub swings wildly with an uppercut but Equinox uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mahjoub looking to throw knees to the head but Equinox is blocking nicely.
Mahjoub tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Mahjoub tries a body shot but Equinox blocks it.
Equinox wants to break free but Mahjoub has control.
Equinox is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Equinox wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Equinox wants to get back to striking at distance but Mahjoub won't allow it.
Mahjoub tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Equinox smiles and moves away.
Mahjoub shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Equinox as he jumps to the side.
Equinox tries to clinch up but Mahjoub circles away and keeps his distance.
Mahjoub tries a head kick but it misses.
Mahjoub avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mahjoub takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mahjoub throws a sloppy head kick and Equinox moves out of range easily.
Mahjoub takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Equinox drops Mahjoub with a big left hand! Mahjoub is injured, injured bad! Equinox jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
