The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talltree uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smaug.
Talltree takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Smaug throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

and Talltree makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Smaug throws a shot from downtown. Talltree moves away and avoids it.

Smaug jabs Talltree to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cinder Smaug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smaug throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smaug feints and then cracks Talltree's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Talltree down.

Talltree chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smaug can pounce on him.

Smaug has taken the fight to the clinch.
Smaug throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Talltrees head.
Talltree tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Smaug is leaning against Talltree and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Smaug tries to throw a body punch but Talltree avoids it by throwing Smaug back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smaug creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Talltree with a big uppercut! Talltree tries to clinch up but Smaug pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Talltree to the mat! Talltree covers up and Smaug unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
