Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Samba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samba comes to the cage accompanied by Bezerker by Love Among Freaks. Machida has chosen No more Shadows for the Past- NARNIA as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renzo Machida!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida looks to land a left hand but Samba moved out of range nicely.
Samba's jab looks to have found its range, popping Machida under the eye.
Renzo Machida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machida takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Machida throws a sloppy head kick and Samba moves out of range easily.
Samba tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Machida was well out of range. Poor timing from Samba.

Samba lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Machida tries to reverse the position but Samba maintains control.
Machida is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Samba has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Machida suckers Samba into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Machida is now in Samba's guard!
Machida postures up in Samba's guard and throws a big left but Samba blocks it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Samba is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Machida.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Samba checks a leg kick.

Samba walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Machida fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Samba.
Samba drops his hands momentarily and Machida needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Samba just on the top of the head. Samba drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Samba - he's done!
