Gaffney closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hudson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gaffney's guard.

Gaffney is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hudson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gaffney, up you get!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
