Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pithe Canthropus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichiro Hirohito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canthropus's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pizzaman - Trippin' On Sunshine. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hirohito's choice of entrance music: Super Mario Brothers. Pithe Canthropus has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Hirohito shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Canthropus pinned against the cage. Canthropus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Canthropus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hirohito doesn't seem bothered though.

Hirohito postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Canthropus is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hirohito, into his guard.

Canthropus wants to pass the guard but Hirohito is keeping the position.
Hirohito doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hirohito is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hirohito is working for a kimura but Canthropus is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pithe Canthropus dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hirohito shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Canthropus as he avoids it easily.

Canthropus connects with a nice cross there... Hirohito is looking wobbly and Canthropus recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Hirohito to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Canthropus jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
