The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eerkilaa looks to land a left hand but Serizawa moved out of range nicely.
Toni Eerkilaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eerkilaa lands a big uppercut and Serizawa crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Serizawa looks OK. Eerkilaa waves Serizawa back to his feet!
It looks like Tamao Serizawa has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Serizawa drops his hands momentarily. Eerkilaa doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Serizawa staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Serizawa doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
