The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Leonardo.
Leonardo thuds his right hand into Cormier's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Daniel Cormier has been cut.
Cormier misses with a takedown attempt - Leonardo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Leonardo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leonardo connects with a nice looking jab.

Daniel Cormier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leonardo pushes Cormier away with a front kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leonardo.
Cormier is breathing heavily.
Leonardo works Cormier's body with a nice hook.
Leonardo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Leonardo feints and then cracks Cormier's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cormier down.

Leonardo cracks Cormier with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cormier looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Leonardo finish him?

Leonardo throws a quick head kick that knocks Cormier silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Leonardo is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
