Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hatsu Hioki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorde Runkputte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hioki comes to the cage accompanied by Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage. Hatsu Hioki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorde Runkputte!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hioki throws a sloppy body shot
and Runkputte counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Runkputte softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hioki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Runkputte pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hatsu Hioki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Runkputte lands with a good body shot.
Runkputte lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Hatsu Hioki has been cut.
Runkputte ducks under a wild hook from Hioki.
Hioki takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hioki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hioki has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hioki there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hioki takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hioki is rocked!
Runkputte cracks Hioki with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Runkputte has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hioki to stand back up!
Oh Hioki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hioki circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Runkputte. Hioki falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Runkputte!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jorde Runkputte!
