PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergiy Sklyar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sklyar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Scarface - No Tears kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Greco Roman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Greco Roman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman blocks a leg kick.
Roman looks to land a left hand but Sklyar moved out of range nicely.
Sklyar will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Roman is staying active underneath Sklyar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Roman has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sklyar is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Roman.
