The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starburst defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Petrov.

Starburst fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Petrov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Petrov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Petrov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Starburst is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Starburst creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Starburst lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Starburst cracks Petrov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Petrov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Starburst finish him?
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Starburst.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Petrov switches off momentarily and Starburst cracks him with a monster right hand! Petrov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Starburst dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Starburst!
