Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gunnar Steigelmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Charles Brock!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steigelmann stuffs the takedown attempt from Brock. Brock gets slowly back to his feet.
Brock has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Steigelmann.
Gunnar Steigelmann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steigelmann ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Steigelmann throws a lazy uppercut

and Brock counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Steigelmann!
Steigelmann on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steigelmann tries to get out of the position.
Brock wants to control but Steigelmann is keeping him busy.

Brock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brock tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Brock is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Steigelmann knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Brock tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Brock looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Steigelmann managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brock.
Brock misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Brock is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Steigelmann has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Brock has hold of Steigelmann's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Steigelmann seems comfortable defending it but Brock has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Steigelmann is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Steigelmann is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Brock couldn't care less - he's delighted!
