The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Scott misses with an uppercut.
Scott throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thomas.

It looks like Karl Thomas has been cut.

Thomas rushes Scott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Scott can't break the clinch.
Thomas tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Scott breaks the clinch.
Karl Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott scores with a push kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scott checks the leg kick nicely there.
Thomas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Thomas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Scott counters with a nice uppercut.

Scott circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Thomas to the canvas! Thomas doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Scott keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
