Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mister Spock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shia LaBeouf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spock's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rolling Stones- 2000 Light Years. LaBeouf has chosen Kyoto as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spock connects with a good right hand that stumbles LaBeouf. LaBeouf circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Spock throws a hook to the side of LaBeouf's head but LaBeouf sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
LaBeouf fails with a takedown attempt.
Spock fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches LaBeouf on the side of the head.
Spock misses with a hook. LaBeouf ducked under it nicely.

LaBeouf walks forward, straight into a front kick from Spock.
LaBeouf tries for a takedown but Spock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mister Spock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shia LaBeouf.
LaBeouf's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spock connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! LaBeouf scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

LaBeouf has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Spock has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

LaBeouf is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Spock has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
LaBeouf tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Spock swivels and escapes.
