PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Oby dGreat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cray Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dGreat comes to the ring accompanied by BLIND by KoRn. Stout comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ¨LONG HARD TIMES TO COME kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dGreat tries a head kick but it misses.
Stout chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before dGreat can pounce on him.
Stout looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cray Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stout scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Stout misses with a wild combination.
Stout blocks a leg kick.
Stout tries a low kick but dGreat avoids it.
dGreat thows a body kick. Stout tries to catch it but that hurt him.

dGreat tries to land knees in the clinch but Stout avoids the damage to the body.

dGreat lands a hook that snaps the head of Stout backwards.

Stout lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
dGreat takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from dGreat, right into the meat.

dGreat fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Stout checks it well.
dGreat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No joy there for Stout, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
dGreat thuds his right hand into Stout's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stout fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Stout avoids the head kick by dGreat.
Stout on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stout looks for the body kick but dGreat saw that one coming.

Stout plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
dGreat throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Stout tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and dGreat is able to avoid easily.
dGreat throws a solid leg kick but Stout takes the impact on his shin and smiles at dGreat.
dGreat is looking to score with low kicks.
dGreat tests Stout's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Some bone on bone action there as dGreat checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

dGreat takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Stout lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but dGreat circles away quickly and effectively.
Oh dGreat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stout tries to bum rush dGreat with a series of wild strikes but dGreat uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stout looks winded!
Stout moves out of range of the leg kick from dGreat.
Stout tries to land a body kick
and dGreat counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
dGreat seems to have got his legs back now.
Stout throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stout misses with a wild combination.
dGreat throws a head kick that Stout semi-blocks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
dGreat lands a head kick that sends Stout down! Stout is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! dGreat is victorious!
