De Wilde throws a hook to the side of Banner's head but Banner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Banner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De Wilde.
De Wilde moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Banner checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Banner is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
De Wilde buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

De Wilde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

so Banner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
De Wilde is trying to hold Banner in close to prevent damage but Banner has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Banner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
De Wilde takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
