Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Reinikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Protagonist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reinikainen comes to the cage accompanied by Turmion Kätilöt - Verta ja Lihaa (Proteus Mental remix). Protagonist has chosen Teenage Bottlerocket - Bigger Than Kiss as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Protagonist tries to score with a low kick but Reinikainen moves his leg out of the way.

Protagonist fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Reinikainen is out of range.

Reinikainen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Protagonist uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Protagonist lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Hiro Protagonist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Protagonist swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Protagonist throws a leg kick which misses Reinikainen's front leg but catches the back leg as Reinikainen tries to avoid it.
Protagonist cracks Reinikainen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Protagonist is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Reinikainen had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Protagonist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reinikainen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Protagonist! Reinikainen is out on his feet! Protagonist rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Reinikainen is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Reinikainen is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
