Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emeka Shakur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaarlo Volkano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shakur might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tatanka - Africa. Volkano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Graveyard - Hisingen Blues. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shakur looks to throw the jab but Volkano is out of range.
Shakur throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shakur swings for the body but Volkano moves out of range.
Shakur misses with a double jab.
Shakur ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Volkano moves away.
Shakur is looking to score with low kicks.
Volkano throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Good shot there by Volkano.
It looks like Emeka Shakur has been cut.
Shakur throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shakur wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Volkano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Volkano ducks under a wild hook from Shakur.
Volkano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shakur tries to avoid it but Volkano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shakur to the ground. Shakur escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shakur checks a leg kick.
Shakur fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Volkano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Volkano looks winded!

Shakur lands a head kick!
Volkano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shakur is looking to chop away at Volkano's legs.
Shakur throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shakur misses with a low kick.
Shakur just misses with a punch to the body.
Shakur is looking to wear down Volkano with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Volkano walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shakur checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shakur ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Volkano moves away.
Shakur throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shakur, right into the meat.

Volkano misses with a wild body shot.

Shakur connects with the punch.
Shakur tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shakur moves into range and connects with a jab.
Shakur jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Kaarlo Volkano has been cut.
Shakur lands a big head kick that sends Volkano to the canvas! Shakur follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Emeka Shakur thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
