The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarejoe fails to land with a series of punches.

Omega decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sarejoe tries to get to full guard but Omega has control of the leg.
It looks like Omega is going to stand back up.
Sarejoe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Omega stops Sarejoe from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Omega postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sarejoe to stand up.
Omega doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Sarejoe counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Omega's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sarejoe tries to stand but Omega is controlling from the bottom.
Sarejoe wants to pass the guard but Omega is keeping the position.

Sarejoe postures up in Omega's guard and throws a big left but Omega blocks it.

Omega kicks Sarejoe off and gets to his feet.

Omega tries for a takedown but Sarejoe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sarejoe drops back looking for a leg! Omega is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Omega manages to kick Sarejoe off! Sarejoe jumps back into Omega's guard.
Sarejoe wants to stand but Omega is controlling his posture from full guard.

Omega wants to stand and escape but Sarejoe is having none of it.

Omega is working an open guard so Sarejoe takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Omega shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sarejoe fails to land with a series of punches.
Alfa Omega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarejoe takes a swing at Omega's ribcage but misses.

and Sarejoe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Omega won't be happy with that.
Sarejoe lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Omega moves out of range as Sarejoe strikes.

Sarejoe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Omega.
Sarejoe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and Sarejoe counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Omega fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sarejoe avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sarejoe shoots in and bounces Omega off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Sarejoe has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Omega is proving hard to escape from.

Sarejoe stands up from Omega's guard - Sarejoe perhaps looking for a knockout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sarejoe is looking to clinch but Omega is avoiding it.

Sarejoe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sarejoe wants it to stay on the feet.
Sarejoe closes the distance and clinches up with Omega, looking for a takedown. Sarejoe pushes Omega against the cage but Omega circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sarejoe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Omega.
Sarejoe shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sarejoe stands up and beckons Omega to his feet.
Sarejoe throws a series of punches but Omega avoids them all with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Sarejoe counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Omega is looking to stand up but Sarejoe isn't so interested in that idea.

Sarejoe wanted to stand there but Omega had control of the position.
Stepfaner Sarejoe has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sarejoe with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Sarejoe drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sarejoe seems to have locked his on tight now - Omega screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sarejoe, as he picks up the win!
