Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eildon Heap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzesimir Ciupaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ciupaga has chosen Polak potrafi as his entrance music. Krzesimir Ciupaga acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciupaga throws a jab but it's blocked by Heap.
A big left from Heap misses.
Some wild striking there from Ciupaga.
Heap looks to land a combination but Ciupaga avoids it well.
Heap tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ciupaga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Ciupaga counters with a head kick that drops Heap!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Heap utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ciupaga wants to control from the top but Heap keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Krzesimir Ciupaga hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Heap avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ciupaga throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Heap tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ciupaga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Ciupaga throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Ciupaga gets tackled into the cage by Heap. Heap maintains the clinch.
Ciupaga dodges an elbow strike from Heap.
Heap with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Heap swings wildly with an uppercut but Ciupaga uses good head movement to avoid it.

Heap tries to clinch there but Ciupaga circles away.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Heap just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ciupaga's brow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ciupaga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Heap tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ciupaga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ciupaga throws out a powerful jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ciupaga.
Ciupaga lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ciupaga swings for the body but Heap moves out of range.

and Ciupaga counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Heap has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
