Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xantos Aremis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xu comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Creeping Death. Aremis has chosen Infected Mushroom - Merlin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Xu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Xantos Aremis!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aremis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Xu.
Aremis checks a low kick from Xu.
Aremis cracks a nice hook into Xu's ribs.
Xu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aremis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aremis scores with a jab. Xu acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Aremis misses the jab.
Aremis lands with a straight right. Xu didn't see that one coming.
Xu keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Aremis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Xu as he avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aremis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Xu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Aremis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Xu manages to avoid it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Xu enables Aremis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Xu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Aremis sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Aremis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Xu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Xu's back!

Aremis is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Aremis gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Aremis gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Aremis apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Xu takes the fight into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Xu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Xantos Aremis has been cut.
Aremis tries a body shot but Xu blocks it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Xantos Aremis has got the better of the ground game so far.

Aremis postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Aremis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Xu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Aremis drops Xu with a naaaaasty hook - Xu is in real trouble here! Aremis dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
