Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peppu Reiska MacDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Froch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacDonald comes to the cage accompanied by Placebo - Pure Morning. The crowd seem to be enjoying Froch's choice of entrance music: Can't be touched. The fight stays on the outside here - Froch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That was a close round but I would say that Peppu Reiska MacDonald will probably get the nod.

Marlo Froch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MacDonald lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

MacDonald is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Froch is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Froch flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. MacDonald anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Froch and secures both hooks! This could be bad! MacDonald slips an arm under Froch chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. MacDonald has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. MacDonald is squeezing on Froch like an anaconda would it's prey. Froch fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

A determined Peppu Reiska MacDonald didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
