PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerron Nimoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chandler Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bing tries to move into range but Nimoh moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nimoh stuffs the takedown.
Bing misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nimoh swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bing.
Nimoh wants to get back to his feet but Bing drags him back down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bing throws a strike aimed at the side of Nimoh's head but Nimoh avoids it well.
Bing working the ground and pound but Nimoh is defending the strikes.
You can see the frustration on Nimoh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bing tries for a kimura but Nimoh is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bing creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Nimoh sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nimoh is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Bing tries for a kimura but Nimoh is defending well.
Bing throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Bing misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Nimoh pushes Bing away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bing gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Nimoh is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bing off and has taken his back!

Nimoh misses with a punch to the head.
Nimoh wants to control the position but Bing frees himself and scrambles - Nimoh manages to regain control in side control.

Bing is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bing is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bing is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bing has his foot on Nimoh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nimoh works his way back into a safe position though.

A close round but Chandler Bing will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nimoh scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bing takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Nimoh closes the distance and clinches.

It looks like Chandler Bing has been cut.
Nimoh is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bing is defending well for now.
Bing is breathing heavily.

Nimoh scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bing doesn't seem bothered though.

Bing doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nimoh is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nimoh is pushing Bing up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Nimoh cracks Bing with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bing looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nimoh finish him?

Bing is rocked!

Bing walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bing limp body while Nimoh jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
