The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggins lands with an overhand left.
Tua takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Riggins keeps the fight on the outside.
Riggins fails to land with a series of punches.
Tua fails in his attempt to clinch.
Riggins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tua backs up against the ropes.

Tua is rocked!

It looks like Nate Tua has been cut.
Tua keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tua is still on wobbly legs! Can Riggins finish him?
Tua wants to clinch up but Riggins keeps it at a distance.
Tua fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tua gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tua tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Riggins is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tua buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tua!! Tua is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Riggins throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Riggins!
