The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark throws a hook but Gillmore blocks it.
Gillmore shoots for a double leg takedown but Clark sprawls well. He's pushed Gillmore's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Clark connects with a jab.
Gillmore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gillmore throws a nice looking combination but Clark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Clark tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gillmore throws a body punch but Clark moves out of range.

Clark lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Gillmore attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gillmore throws a right and a left that Clark avoids nicely.
Clark moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Gillmore walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gillmore takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Gillmore jumps guard but Clark stands there with Gillmore around his waist. Gillmore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gillmore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Clark smiles and moves away.
Gillmore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gillmore somewhat.

Gillmore gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Clark counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gillmore dips to his left and cracks Clark with an uppercut!
Gillmore shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clark eats them both and turns towards Gillmore to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Gillmore takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Clark clobbers Gillmore with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
No joy there for Gillmore, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A big left from Clark misses.

Gillmore is rocked!

Clark takes the fight into the clinch.
Clark with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Gillmore is still on wobbly legs! Can Clark finish him?

Gillmore seems to have recovered his senses.

Gillmore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Clark walks away with a smile on his face. Gillmore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

enabling Clark to counter with a crisp jab.
Clark looks for the body kick but Gillmore saw that one coming.

Gillmore falls off balance throwing a combination
and Clark counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Clark looks at the referee who does nothing so Clark lands a crushing right that sends Gillmore to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
