Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remo Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Awesome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Remo Williams Theme. Remo Williams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awesome throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Williams counters with a nice body shot.
Awesome looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Awesome misses with a double jab
and Awesome takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Williams moves into the clinch.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Johnny Awesome has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Williams clinches.

Williams has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Awesome clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Williams trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Awesome doesn't escape.
Williams has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Williams's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Remo Williams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A decent looking cross lands there for Williams.

Williams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Awesome is rocked!
Awesome takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Awesome is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?

Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Awesome did well to prevent Williams getting side control.

Williams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Awesomes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

That has opened up Johnny Awesome's cut even more.

Williams feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Awesome sprawling to the canvas! Awesome rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Williams finish him?!

Williams has managed to clinch.

Williams drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Awesome right on the button. Awesome goes down! Williams follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Williams gets the win via TKO!
