Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between KC Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, KC Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Cooper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cooper lands with a straight right. Hunter didn't see that one coming.

Cooper clinches up with Hunter and pushes him back against the cage.
Hunter goes for a takedown attempt but Cooper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cooper fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunter manages to avoid it.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cooper but Cooper pushes him off and we're back to square one.
KC Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Hunter.

Cooper closes the distance and clinches.
Hunter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Hunter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cooper's half guard.

Hunter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cooper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

KC Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cooper feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hunters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nice straight punches there by Cooper. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Cooper.
