Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses the jab.

Rivera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hardy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rivera has managed to get both his arms back between Hardy's legs - danger averted.

Rivera is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hardy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rivera.

Hardy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rivera pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hardy tries to get to full guard but Rivera has control of the leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rivera in particular looking to stall.
Hardy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rivera is working away from the top position though.

It looks like Clint Hardy has been cut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rivera goes for a takedown attempt but Hardy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rivera shoots for a double leg takedown but Hardy sprawls well. He's pushed Rivera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hardy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rivera checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hardy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hardy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hardy wants it to stay on the feet.

Rivera closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hardy misses with a punch to the body.
Hardy takes a knee to the side of the body.
Hardy is breathing heavily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rivera has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hardy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Rivera is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Hardy is covering up but some of the strikes from Rivera are getting through and doing damage.
Will Rivera go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Rivera has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hardy has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Rivera has the hooks in. Hardy is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Rivera has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Hardy! Can he survive? No! He's out! Rivera gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
