The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuzuri gets caught napping as Raptor dives in and scores a takedown. Kuzuri manages to retain guard.
Kuzuri might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Raptor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Raptor is looking to improve his position but Kuzuri isn't that keen on the idea.
Raptor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Raptor throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Raptor is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Raptor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kuzuri manages to get himself to full guard.
Kuzuri is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Raptor has his feet on Kuzuri's thighs here. He's pushed Kuzuri off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kuzuri screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
